Training and Awareness
- Leadership Training: Our leadership team receives in-depth training designed to identify and address issues related to modern slavery and human trafficking.
- Staff Training: Recruiters, HR personnel, and staff involved in procurement and supply chains undergo training that includes modules on modern slavery and human trafficking, along with broader human rights concerns.
- Awareness-Raising: All staff are provided with information to raise awareness about modern slavery and human trafficking to ensure they can recognise and report potential issues to management.
Reporting Concerns
- Channels for Reporting: Employees, workers, or other parties are strongly encouraged to report concerns or suspicions related to human rights abuses to our Group’s legal team.
- Taking Action: Reports concerning issues of modern slavery are taken very seriously by our Board of Directors, who ensure all investigations are conducted promptly and effectively. Appropriate actions may include:
- Collaborating with organisations to improve standards,
- Removing non-compliant organisations from our preferred supplier list,
- Referring cases to law enforcement bodies.
Risk Monitoring
- We regularly monitor our risks in the area of modern slavery through relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), such as:
- The percentage of suppliers adhering to our code of conduct or providing their own modern slavery statements,
- The resources invested in audits, re-audits, spot checks, and due diligence,
- The level of training and awareness of modern slavery among our staff.
Annual Modern Slavery Statement
- As part of our commitment, we publish and regularly update a modern slavery statement on an annual basis, outlining our efforts and progress in combating slavery and trafficking in our operations and supply chain.
Policy Review
